Hello,
I still haven't had any luck locating window felts for my 1966 Crown so I
thought I'd ask here one more time. I purchased the car on June 14 of
this year and decided to have the shop I purchased it from paint it,
repair the headliner, polish the exterior bright work, and replace the
window felts before shipping it to me.
The car should be ready early next month but the shop owner called me to
let me know that he has been unable to locate the exterior window felts
(or window sweeps) for the door windows. He told me that he would try to
restore the original felts but that if I could locate a source for new
ones he would purchase and install them for me. I have checked the
vendors listed in the parts section of the Imperial Club site but none of
them listed anything for the 66. Last Friday I emailed one of them that
listed felts for almost everything up to 1963 hoping they had them for the
66 but just hadn't listed them. They have not returned my email.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
