Fellow Imperial Lovers; 

 

    I was looking last year for a 'new' old car to enjoy my retirement with.  I searched and searched on so many sites online that I lost track of how many places I looked.  I was looking for something that was somewhat unique but not so unique that it would be very difficult to find parts for.  I was really looking for a 1957 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser, but they wanted too much money for those.  My wife really loved the 58 Chevy Impalas but there are too many of them around.  My son sent me several more vehicles among which was a 1956 Imperial 4-dr sedan, white top & silver-grey bottom.  I fell in love at once.  It seemed to jump off the screen at me saying "Take me home!"  I looked at several more cars & trucks but, I kept coming back to this Imperial.  The rest is history as they say.  "Miss Pearl" now resides in Texas and I am a very happy owner.
