RE: IML: Transport Report

I used them because it was ebay’s choice and the seller didn’t know anything about anything in regards to shipping.

It went from terminal to terminal which is the cheapest way(TX to NC) for $1300. The seller agreed to drive it to his closest terminal for pick up which was 30 miles away. It made me feel good he was willing to drive it that far! The car arrived fine but was a day late which caused me to be a week late in picking it up due to my schedule.  The tow yard terminal did not charge me extra for the 8 day storage. DAS has been in business a long time and no doubt ebay has boosted their business big time.  I have heard since there are cheaper carriers out there but I was satisfied with the price and the service.  It was insured for $50,000 which I think is standard for vintage autos.  They cover the front.

Has anyone used DAS Transport for any vehicle moves?  They are  eBay recommended and the people I am dealing with seem knowledgeable and confident in their companies abilities, still, though, trying to get all ducks in a row!!
