Hi Donn,
It is a simple press fitting: the button is pressed onto the washer switch
pin and that is all :)
That is also the reason that many buttons are lost over the years, please
check if the fitting is thight enough!
Good luck,

I'm missing the windshield washer button from the wiper switch. I have
two switches, one in the car with a broken washer pin and another from a
'62 I picked up a few years ago....however neither came with the black
washer fluid switch.
I'm planning on manufacturing one, I have some material that will be easy
enough to work with. However, I can't recall precisely how the washer
button fits into the wiper switch. I appears to be a simple "friction"
deal with the washer button sliding over the washer switch pin and into
the wiper switch. But then it's been sixteen years since I sold my '62
so my memory is failing me. Does the washer button stay on? I don't
recall mine ever falling out.
Anyone have a picture of one? That would help.
Thanks,
Donn Reese
