Re: IML: Welcome Barbara Seidl/Veronica

Bill,

Thanks for the welcome.

Veronica has been a member of the family since my father-in-law purchased her in 1972. She's always been a particular favorite of mine.

If you are interested in seeing her, check out the 2000 and '01 Midwest Meet areas on the ImpClub site. There are some nice pictures Mike Trettin took from both years. I am particularly fond of the one of Veronica against the backdrop of the Mississippi River bridge in Burlington, IA. There is also a picture of Ralph and myself with her and her trophy at the '01 car show in Washington, IA.

I also believe the Imperial eagle and LeBaron script on the 1968 page are Veronica's. Jeff Ingraham had pics on his site at one time, I don't know if they are still there.

Barbara,

Nice to hear about another person that owns and enjoys one of the finest cars ever made, the 1968 Imperial Le Baron.  I am a happy owner of two of these beauties, the first a Navaho Beige & Chestnut, with a combination of fabric & leather interior, the second is turquoise and black with a black leather interior.  I have owned these care for almost fifteen years, and they have always been my favorites even though I have several other old cars to drive.

Hopefully we will hear more from you about the details of your car and your enjoyment of it.

Best regards,
