Self-Introduction: I am looking for my first old car. I have a restored Ford pdickup, but I am wanting to find an old Chrysler (perhaps Plymouth?) in the 46-54 range. I am looking for a vehicle in excellent mechanical condition with a particular eye towards rust free! No desire to rod a vehicle here -- but I do plan on actually driving it.

I am trying to learn about some of the various offerings and am looking for good web sites and forums to find that out. I look forward to hearing how this place works and what sort of wisdom you all can impart.
I am interested in the pro/con of retaining the original drivetrain versus upgrades that might make later additions such as AC and PS easier. Should I try hard to get a Hemi, or is the straight eight OK? Can I ever expect to find decent aftermarket parts and accessories for the straight eight or 6 for AC?

Those are the sorts of questions I have!!

Thanks......
