Re: IML: Parting out 1968 Chrysler New Yorker 4-door hardtop

Well, if you are parting out the car can you give me some info on any special equipment it may have (since NY'ers were usually more optioned out than "lesser" Chryslers).

I can see it has A/C. I may be interested the A/C -- heater control unit (the pushbotton thingies and mechanism behind it) as well as the faceplate on the dash that covers the radio and central A/C vents.  Also whatever dash plates there may be and the vents that are at the extream right and left sides of the dash. I have a 67 Chrysler without A/C and may wish to add A/C at a later time. I know someone who can do all the mechanical parts, I'd just need the control unit and vents from a 67 or 68 Chrysler to make the interior look OK.

What about autopilot, tilt wheel, power seats, power locks or power trunk release? Power antenna, rear defrost, or radio reverberator?? It appears to just have the AM thumbwheel radio which I already have. If any of the above equipment is on your car, I'd be interested.

Nick
