Absolutely not. It is always positive to positive, negative to negative. 
Does not matter how the battery is connected to the car(positive or negative 
earth). If you try pos to neg you will probably blow up the batteries and 
that is a serious explosion. I know I have blown batteries before but only 
because they were gassing badly and I provided a spark. Big boom and acid 
everywhere.
