I know what you mean. Mine has quite a bit of rust along the top. Not sure about the tops of the pillars.

 

   Was that a new windshield for that price?. If I can get out of this anywhere near $300, I'd be more then happy.

I purchased a windshield for my 69 2 door LeBaron from a local shop for $100.I have not put it in yet. I was quoted $179 installed.

Lots of rust under the vinyl roof that I had no idea about. The top of both A pillars was rusted out at the vinyl seam and there were rust holes all across the top of the window frame. Expect the worst and hope for the best. At least the windshield was not expensive.

I drove my 69 to work a while back & got hit by a rock in the center of the windshield Since its been so hot here, I put it aside to fix later. Well now it has cracked all the way up & down.

   Has anyone replaced one of these recently? Did you run into any complications due to rust under the vinyl? Were you able to locate a windshield easily?
