IML: Imperials & the Infamous HP Exhaust Manifolds

Hola Class

I have been on a " soap box " about the
http://www.1aauto.com/1A/ExhaustManifolds/Dodge/PickupFullSize/PLP1390041/67559 exhaust manifolds being a bolt in
center dump HP for the 1959 year Imperial to the end of the 1966 year
Imperial for some time now. They will fit both sides for a performance improvement.
The good part of it is that if one does not advertise the simple change, the
others will not notice it at the car show. Oh yeah, the passenger side will
accept anything.

The 1967 and newer Imperials can have the HP " C - Boby " driver's side
exhaust manifolds as a bolt in. The passenger side will accept anything.

The driver's for the 1981-83 Crashier Imperial can seek for a set of 360
exhaust manifolds from other MoPar's that share the same body platform. ( For
those that are not LA engine guru's will think the 318/ 360 exhaust manifolds are
all the same even though the 360 version has a larger exhaust diam. ) And
like the other's, the passenger side will accept anything.
