Donn,
All the things you mentioned is part of the JOY of owning these
wonderful cars. What would you have to do if nothing had to be fixed. You would
just sit around the house watching TV.
As for the flasher unit making the turn signals work, things do wear out or
get weak. Lubing the Speedo is a natural. The grease in our old cars dries out
& looses it lubricating qualities. Thus the noise in the moving parts.
