IML: 1960 arm rest

Does anyone know if the arm rest in the front bench seat was an option or if it was standard?  Particularly on the Custom.

I've been searching through member's car pictures but there are few front views of the front seats unless it's a convertible and they tend to have the swivel seats.

The front seat in mine was reupholstered in an amateurish way and I'm wondering if they just covered up the arm rest or if it was an option not installed, then it wouldn't even exist.
