I'm so happy that some of you requested to see some pics of this car. I posted this back in Sept & I'm still getting requests.
Joy -- would the fuzzy dash Imperial by any chance be the one that's currently listed on eBay at http://tinyurl.com/y3bfhp ?  If not, what are the chances of there being TWO fuzzy-dashed Imperials around?!?!?!
I found a 64 Crown in NJ & am currently awaiting photo's of this car. Although It wasn't my original year of choice (originally favoring the 58-63 bodystyles)
You can't go wrong with a good '64-'66 Imperial!  And remember that underneath the sheetmetal, the '64-'66 Imperials are essentially mechanically identical to the '57-'63 Imperials (the only major exceptions would be the change in engines from the 392 hemi for '57 and '58, to the 413 for '59 to '65, and then the 440 for '66).  It's really quite impressive that Chrysler could use the same underpinnings for '63 and '64 and yet produce such dramatically different looking cars.

Best luck in finding your own Imperial!
