Re: IML: how much

This is a very, very broad question.

To help you find an answer, first of all, are you selling one or trying to buy one?

Which '67 Crown model? There is a 4-door hardtop, a 2-door hardtop (Crown Coupe), and a convertible. In general, the model value tends to be highest for the convertible (which is the lowest production) and lowest for the 4-door hardtop.

Other factors include mileage, condition, repairs needed, originality, desirability of options and color, and the car's individual history.

You can look online to research recent sales. Look at completed auctions on eBay, for example. Buy the Old Cars Price Guide (or look at it online).

You can also look at what people are asking for models currently for sale. Look at eBay again, collectorcartraderonline.com, and other sources. Buy a copy of Hemmings Motor News (or look online at hemmings.com).

These factors should get you an approximate range.

And then the answer becomes "It would sell for what someone would pay for it." That's not meant to be a witticism but a reality. Some cars, and some sellers (dealers and auctions, it often seems), get more than other seemingly similar cars bring. And some buyers are willing to pay more if they fall in love with a particular car for whatever reason (matches one they had 20 years ago, looks like the one in the ad, they just love Haze Green, etc.).

There are a lot of factors. But some research should at least help you home in on a fair price.

Hope that helps.
