RE: IML: Kitchen Table Specs for a frame hitch

Hola And Ah Ho Ho Ho Wayne

You can design the hitch and then go to a Metal Selling place in your area.  Purchace the stock and then cut it to the lenghts of your design.  Now drill and bolt all the joints.  Tote this to any welding shop and have them finish it.

If you feel this is a little over your area of expertise, copy the design of several "pick up trucks" to make it fit your car.

If any of you have a 1960 to 1966 car that has an hitch, send Wayne an direct email with photos and etc.

I believe a few years ago someone posted information about how to fabricate a frame hitch for a body on frame Imperial (a 65 I think).  I searched the club archives and I was unable to find the thread.  Does anyone else recall this information?
Thank you,
Wayne Jorgensen
