Re: IML: Grand Junction CO

My brother is is a business prof. at Mesa State Uni in Grand Jct, and an excellent car guy. I can ask him, or give you his name/number. He is a good guy and capable of providing an excellent observation of the car. Let me know.

Is there anyone on the list who lives in the Grand Junction Colorado area? I am attempting to follow up on the '65 New Yorker station wagon that was just on e-bay. After talking with the owner I am thinking that the car might be too tired for my wants, but is should be worth a look. Unfortunately I am located a thousand miles away...just a bit beyond a day trip! Anyone in the area willing to go check it out and give an opinion if I should be running away from this one?

OK, I REALLY want this car, but today's my 30th anniversary and if I blow the $2K (or less) it will take to buy this, I'll never see the 31st.  I hope somebody out there needs a tow car as nice as this one!
