Re: IML: found good 73 parts car (newport custom)

Hi Joel:

This is not something that I want, but the front spindles from the 73 C-bodies are the most desireable to retrofit front discs onto 1966-1972 C-bodies. Make sure that they do not go to the crusher.

On an Imperial note. I was watching the Barett Jackson auction on the Speed Channel today. I missed the actual auction, but they said a 1957 Imperial went for $350K. Wow!

i found a good parts car here locally in my
city. its a 73 newport custom w/ 400 2bbl,
727. complete car other than rear seat.
manual crank windows, yet all glass is good.
has solid dash/ instrument cluster, w/ original
radio, trim.
engine is complete minus carb and valve covers ( rockers aren't loose at all).
carpet and headliner trash. has all accesory
stuff, only two front wheels, one hubcap,

too good bucket/bench style seat, seat belts, some rubber hoses, steering box

let me know if you need anything call Joel @ 214-577-3241.
who knows how long before they crush it
we can negotiate prices (maybe add 5% of what i paid to pull)

p.s: im keeping the aluminum windhshield trim
pieces, and air vent lever(under column)
