IML: New Imperialclub list members-Welcome

Welcome to all new list members! The Imperialists here have a wealth of knowledge, as well as passion for these historic motorcars that we have appreciated since our youth (or otherwise good taste), and the breadth of other interests among members also is a resource you will find most generous in sharing. And please share your activituies as well. Its the 'mutual-appreciation society' that keeps us all going!

My Imperialing today- with frz rain, 8" of snow and more frz rain, consisted of treating my Brother-in-law to 'a seat' in the garage and demonstraing the Spinning dial search tune radio, and the elctrolum-- dash.  he recently retired and I promised him ( & my sister-in law) a dinner trip in the spring.  i also am trying to convince a cousin from Arizona to plan his visit East when we can all go to Chrysler Carlilse. 

On the 'mechanical side', I discovered ,my Vintage Mopar battery (new in 2004)  has died- despite the electronic charge monitor. It showed signs of 'weakness a year ago, and has finally given up. I will keep it for 'show', but  replace it with a DieHard, even though lately - they Die-Hard too. Nop longer made by DuBois like in the 1950's.
