RE: IML: Bettery Fast Remove Clip question

Patrick,

I’ve always broken the negative lead first when disconnecting a battery.  For me, that’s where I would have put the switch.

Subject: IML: Bettery Fast Remove Clip question

Is there any science to which battery terminal you install a removable terminal clip to?  I bought and installed one today on my 1969 Electra after the old battery was consumed by too many winter discharges.  The package the clip came in alluded to the fact that it could go on either terminal.  I put it on the positive side, but wondered what wisdom I might be missing in doing so.  Speculating on what's best for any car always sends me to the IML.  (required Imperial content).

Anyone?
