Re: IML: Imperial given the green light for 2010?

The 67 and 68 Imperials were very "tall". With the fuselage cars Chrysler tried to keep as much height as possible without the cars looking "tall" and hence the somewhat unusual  proportions which I happen to love. A slightly better turning radius would help though! Good head room is a characteristic or luxury cars in general and Imperials in particular. The trick is to have the head room without it being too obvious.
Assuming the Chrysler is still making cars in 2010, things could be worse that being the "THE PIMPED RIDE" of the time. That is waht mant companies aspire to.
They say there is no such thing as bad publicity. Snoop Dog wanted a Chrysler 300 (2000s vintage) as soon as he saw one. I wonder how much money that was worth to DaimlerChrysler?
Time rolls on.

While they're at it,  they should try lowering the entire car about a foot or so.  The concept has all the grace of a bulldozer (with an overly large grille).  I'm afraid, as it appears in concept form, it will be 'THE PIMPED RIDE to own in 2010!  God help us!

I think, invert the grill, split it in half, separated by a body colored bar 2-3", and dull finished SS grill. Just a thought. Dave
