RE: IML: 90' keyless entry



You can put keyless entry on. I did it on my 92 with a kit from JC Whitney. That was 5 years ago.  Now—the wires were not the right color code so had to manually determine which was correct ones. (Chrysler must have had some leftover) It does the doors and trunk. The circuit on the trunk went out, and the component has a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer that I am checking on Monday.

just from what little i know about modern car electronics, my guess would be

it would be difficult .

i would presume that chrysler ran that keyless system via the body computer

and i think that it could not be retro-fitted.

just my opinion.
