Subject: IML: Headers for Imperials

Premade headers specified for any application besides
Imperial will likely not work.  The steering box is in
a completely different place than it is on other Mopar
cars due to the longer nose, and this leads to
"complications".

Not to say that Schumacher hasn't solved the problem
(you'd have to ask them), but it's not likely based on
the time I spent researching options, since there are
not enough people putting headers on our cars to
justify an investment by a vendor.  - meaning that
custom would be your path if you're going to go that
way.

While not as cool looking as headers, the HP C-body
exhaust manifolds were the only option that I was able
to find, and I'm very happy with them - they are a
bolt-in solution without the exposure to cracking and
engine compartment heat that you get from headers,
custom made or otherwise.

item 320091994029 on ebay is an example.
