IML: 56 car and engine prices?

Hi Larry,

 

I agree with the group, take the car with the engine, as long as it is complete.  Parts for the 56 are pretty much one-off.  There aren’t many cars like them and trim parts are extremely rare.  I imagine the 4 Dr HT is even more rare.  I have a 2 Dr Southampton and some parts are just not available.  So, just be sure that all the stainless and chrome plated parts are with the car or you will spend a good bit of time searching to find what you might need.  You’ll love it when you get it finished!

I have an offer for a 56 4 door southhampton. $1100 fo the car without the engine $2800 with theengine and $950 to get it transported from the west coast to illinois. Are these prices reasonable?
