Re: IML: Rebuild kit

Hola "BattleAx"

I do like the Brian name better though.

The local NAPA or like parts store will be a good start.  The name of Imperial, Crown or Coupe does not mean as much as, 1965 413 Chrysler ( w/air ) and the number code on the carb attached with a screw-driver head type bolt on the top of the carburator.  If you have the tools, space and are slow and clean, you can do the carb.

If you take the transmission out and deliver it to the shop you can save a bunch.  Two friends and pizza for all is very cheap.

Do one and get it running correctly before you do the other repair.  That waY IF THERE IS AN PROBLEM, you know what you touched last.

Subject: IML: Rebuild kit

Hola Imperialist,

I am located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and would like to know if anyone out there knows of somewhere I can purchase a complete rebuild kit for my carburetor and transmission.  Please help!  I am prepared to work on my summer ?65 Crown Coupe project.
