Re: IML: Restoring an Imperial

Hi All.....I know that most of us on the IML have done at least some kind of work on our Imperials, ranging from changing a tire to rebuilding a motor!....I was wondering if anyone has had their Imperial 'restored' by a shop (either LOCAL or at some distance) and what they thought of the work done? would you recommend the shop to another IML member? I am looking for a shop to do a good restoration on my '66 LeBaron NOT to make it a 'show car' but I'd like to have the machanicals all working good enough to be able to jump in the car and safely go to wherever I'd like....and get there in one piece! If anyone knows of a shop they'd recommend please feel free to email me directly at
"dansgarage@xxxxxxxxxxxx"
...I'm out in the boonies here in southern CAlifornia between San Bernadino and Palm Springs (Beaumont, CA).
Thanks all!!!...any and all comments and suggestions greatly appreciated!!!
Dan Melnik
