RE: IML: Fwd: Title question

My 1967 Imperial Crown Coupe came to me in 1983 directly from the son and heir of it's original owner  (who was the owner of the Chrysler dealership in Franklin Tennessee) along with the original title, which read:   Make: Imperial
                                                                             Model: Crown
For all of my other Imperials I had to go with all the documentation I could find (including the original title from the Crown Coupe- as an example), and do battle with the registrar here in Minnesota. I was successful in all cases, though not because they were particularly co-operative; low-level bureaucrats have, and like to wield, just enough power to be dangerous and difficult, without actually going to the extreme of thinking independently.

Mr. Hardcastle bought three new 1967 Imperials for his and the family's personal use: mine (the Crown Coupe), a LeBaron, and a Crown 4-door hardtop. I was told by his son that he hoped I would buy his Dad's personal- and favourite- car, the Crown Coupe, even though I prefer four doors.
