RE: IML: Interior chrome surface rust.



Should never use steel wool on chrome or stainless. It will leave behind
deposits that will make it rust again.

   Let's pretend I have a '62 Crown with surface rust on the chrome of the
windshield surround. It polishes up nicely with that blue, ammonia-laden
stuff, but there's still some rust left... What do you guys recommend,
extremely fine steel wool?
