Re: IML: old speackers

Thanks for the input.  I bought a new set of 6x9s a few months ago and just want to keep the original in working condition.

Thanks again for the help on fixing an old part

I did same thing on my 60. After hunting around I found a place here in New Zealand that re-cones classic speakers. There is sure to be something similar locally for you? Cost about $70.
Whatever you do don't dare put Japanese ones in will you?

Hi there everyone

I have just pulled a 65 crown imperial out of our family garage and am now fixing it.

I need some help on finding a good place to get old speakers.

I was pulling the factory original 6x9 speaker from the trunk when my friend put his
hand through the cone.

If you know of a good place to get the original re-coned in northern colorado or of an available
'65 6x9 speaker for sale please reply back

Thanks I really hope I can put the original sound system back together to make this car completely stock.
