I'm not sure how you can kill all the electricals with a slap on the side of the carb with a wrench but if my roomate did that to my Imperial I'd be tempted to see what I could do for his "electricals" with a slap to the side of his head with the same wrench!
 
Just a thought, does the '65 have an electric choke?

I was working on the carb of my 1965 Crown 4-door yesterday and had adjusted something where the car wouldn't turn off.  My roommate, in all his infinite wisdom, slapped the side of it with a wrench and killed all the electrical.  From talking to others, it could be a fuse, but all input is appreciated.
