Tip number 1. It's heavy, get a friend. I took the back off while the seat was still in the car. Just the bottom itself is still pretty heavy. More awkward than heavy, but heavy nonetheless.

Tip number 2. There are 4 studs that go through the floor and have nuts on the underside of the car. They are very rust prone. Spray WD-40 or Liquid Wrench on them, otherwise they may shear on you.

Tip number 3. Don't forget to disconnect the power seat wire.
