I think it is worth the $500 investment.
Ok, you can't use the interior bits and pieces, for e.g. the dash totally
differs from the one in your 60.

But think of all those drive train parts to start with, engine, tranny and
rear axle should be the same for 59 and 60.

And ever tried to find a spare set of brake drums lately???
Or a spare starter motor (always handy when your original one caughts fire
like mine did 2 weeks ago..).
Or what about a spare exhaust manifold for both sides?
My left one (driverside) was broken (also two weeks ago) and I am still
praying that the workshop can weld it succesfully.


If you have the room and the money, go for it!
