The '62 Chysler New Yorker came with a 413. If it has a 440, possibly it was changed later to a newer engine, and possibly a jerry-rigged throttle linkage. If this is the case, you may have to make your own parts, once you figure out what they need to be. 440 came out in '66 and had different carbs and cable activated linkage assemblies. Early '60s 413's had rod type linkage.

Who knows where to look for this linkage? Mine is broken and now I need new one or old but in good shape, with all necessery parts. 
Car is '62 New Yorker with 440 and 727
