Re: IML: 62 Rebuild or Replace Engine & Leads?

If you go through the 59-65 rebuild messages you will find that others have come to this >"bridge" before you and have written of their experience.

In an "nut shell", the advice to find an 440 is on target. The auto parts stores have the >things for them, The engine re-build shops still have them, and they are an bolt in.

Will a 440 mate up to the '62 transmission? I know it won't work with a '59. This is one of the reasons that I rebuilt the my engine instead of replacing it.
