Re: IML: Green cars 2

Lowell has two 1968's in green that I've had a
"what-if" eye on. Drove one around the block, even.

I actually LIKE them, so I'm not so down on green that
I can't see how it could work, and since almost all of
the surviving 1968's that I come across for sale
"seem" to be some form of green, I'm OK with that.

72 is just a whole different thing (for me, anyway),
with the different greenhouse and seemingly higher
sill on the side glass.

Maybe it was you, Bill, or someone else that wrote me
off list and gave me a minor guilt trip about changing
the color being a "bad thing" since they just don't
make cars in these color combos anymore? Whoever that
was, I really stopped and reconsidered (thank you),
and appreciate that comment even more so now, but this
green's just not making it for me.

I have Imperial Margarine and the all-green,
all-the-time '70, so that's enough original patina for
me.
