Re: IML: Two Tone Paint on a 65 Crown

I think they could be ordered that way, but most that were two colors had a vinyl top that was a different color than the paint. I have seen several '64 Crown Four Door Hardtops that were painted two tone originals. One that have seen more than once was white with metallic red top. I personally prefer those years of non-vinyl top cars in monotone, but that's just me. My '65 is beige.

I was talking to a body and paint shop about doing a repaint on my all black 65 Crown. He suggested painting the top Silver and leave the rest black. I'm not interested in doing that and I don't think they came with two tone paint jobs back then or did they?
