IML: Its 1962 Transmision Re-build Time

Hola Class

And now I want to re-build the transmission from our 1962 Imperial. Is there any helpful hints that will save me $$$ and grief ???

Since I am the save my hard earned money type I will take it out and deliver it to their shop. I just called the local NAPA Auto Parts Store and they said have no re-built kits for an 62 TF.

Since the car is heavy and I have an RV Trailer to pull, I would like an HD or Load-Flite spec'd transmission.
