61 Imperial LeBaron gas mileage. Towing my 10,000 lb enclosed trailer to Carlisle and back here to Calif in July, with both air conds on, 6.7 mpg total average. By itself, 13 to 15 mpg. If I drive like the Mobil economy run, I get almost 19 mpg. But, then I am in everyone's way. So, most of the time, 13 to 14 mpg. joe machado. I change the metering rods and jets according to weather or towing.

6 MPG sounds pretty low, even for one of big motored, heavy beasties. My 58 does considerably better, especially at highway speeds. It is, however, pretty awful in stop start traffic, so I try my best to avoid it. I'd be interested to know what other folks get from theirs.
