Hello all Imperialists!
My wife and I have just came home after a trip to the Opera house in
Copenhagen, Denmark, where we saw/listened to the öoveley Puccini opera La
Boheme.
Our 1965 Imperial Crown 4 de HT in the beautiful green colour, took us 16
miles a gallon. The wind was very sharp from the front. We had a very
comfortable drive all the way from Kristianstad over the bridge between
Sweden and Denmark to Copenhagen and back, totally 190 miles.
Imperials - fantastic cars!!!
Best regards to you all
Bertil Olsson

That being said, if you work at it, you can make an Imperial get
almost as little mileage as you want - full-throttle acceleration is
thirsty. The above was 'average' mileage, city driving is more like 8 or
10. My '69 averaged 13 very predictably when in good tune.
