Bob, thats a good price for a driveway tool, which will find many other uses. No reason not to own one, the only difference between the cheaper ones and the expensive ones, is temp ranges, accuracy and distance you can "shoot" for a reading. We have a pro model, that covers nearly 2000 degrees, and covers 30 feet or better. We use that feature many times. The other tool to recommend, would be an adjustable timing light. That way you can check total, mechanical, or vacuum advance operation.Ya'll have a nice day, Dave.
