Re: IML: Bar's leak

Hi Sjak,

Yep, the bar's leak trick doesn't work...
It is time to the take the radiator to the shop for a more structural repair.

Oh well, it is time to make the car ready for the winter anyway.
Tomorrow it will enter its wintersleep until April next year, so I will remove it this weekend.

A new one is a no go as far as I know, the model that was fitted is an all original 1960 radiator  (Mopar 1903356) and I think  that a repair is the only solution.
I have googled for a new one on the Internet, but no result..

The Bar's leak is intended as a roadside emergency repair only. It can (and often will) clog other parts of the cooling system, and cause other problems.

If you have a leaking radiator, its time to have it repaired or replaced.

I poured some Bar's leak into the system this morning, lets see if it
helps..
Otherwise I have to find a radiator weld shop :)
