That poor kitten! Either way it was damaged beyond repair. Actually, a dead pine tree fell on the car and crushed the C-pillar, wrinkled the quarter panel, popped out the back glass and the rain poured into the car flooding the red leather and carpet, took out the rear speakers, etc. It was one of those seldom seen (in this area, at least) sudden thunder storms. No time to react and move the car. We were renting the house, and the landlord promised to remove the tree for a year, but after the storm, the hard part was done for him.
