| John, Just because something is rare, doesn't make it a good value or something that will increase in worth as time goes by. Regarding cars, Chrysler only made 474 1968 Imperial convertibles, and only 1852 1968 Imperial LeBarons, so they are very rare, both when new and at present, yet these vehicles only bring a modest price, especially the LeBarons. The other extreme would be the 1957 Chevy, made in the hundreds of thousands, none of which could compare to any Imperial, yet certain models bring huge prices. If a person wants to restore an Imperial just because he likes Imperials, fine, but if he wants to restore something to make money, better pick a different make. Bill/Imp, 68's |
