An interesting question came up while discussing the Auto Pilot with a fellow (on-line) Imperial enthusiast. I believe that this would apply to units installed on '58-'66 models.

In order to keep the "speed reminder" feature from kicking in, the knob is turned as far as it will go past "9". Is there a speed after that where the pressure against the accelerator resumes. I have never driven any of my later Imperials fast enough to find out.
