Re: IML: '68 Two Door on eBay

Ken
Here's another good question, if all that it needs is the upper water
outlet reinstalled on the engine then why don't they so they can demonstrate
that it runs? If the windshield can be obtained through auto glass companies
then why don't they replace it? Vandalism is covered by insurance right? It
has also had something heavy sitting on the passenger side seat for a long
time. No, this car was hauled out of a barn somewhere and probably hasn't
been driven in twenty years, not eighteen months, judging by the dust and
garbage all over the interior.
It's not the top bidder keeping his identity private but rather the seller.
The car is now up to $1200 dollars, but between the seller keeping the
identies secret, that smashed windshield, the fact you can't inspect it, and
such a low feedback rating, I smell a rat! I would not touch this car with a
ten foot pole! Not that it's a bad car just that I don't like the
underhanded way it's being represented.

Look at this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4509546981&category=43905

I know many of you are tired of this topic, but I wonder if the demo derby
guys are wising up? $800.00 for a '68 two door and the top bidder is keeping
his/her I.D. private.

So I guess we can't view the bidder's feekback and see this person's bidding
habits.

I wish I had the money and room for this one. Quite tempting......
