Self-Introduction:

Here's a little background on me I have had a love for big cars my whole life.  My husband jests at me sometimes as I climb behind the wheel of my 86 Lincoln and have to move the seat all the way up to reach the petals.  But it has never discouraged me.

While working one day my husband spotted something reflecting far back on a customers property.  Being the person he is, a collector of everything known to man, he decided to investigate.  Low and behold there was my black beauty hidden in the weeds(the shame of it).

Upon closer inspection of the car he saw that it really was still solid and with some TLC (which he knew I would shower it with) the car wasn't too far gone.

He waited a few weeks to tell me about the car, un-sure if he should being that we own several other vehicles, but finally decided one day to let me take a look at it.  Now mind you I was not familiar with the Imperials at all so when he first told me about it I wasn't sure if I even wanted to go.  But my husband knowing my taste for cars convinced me.  Needless to say when I first laid eyes on her I fell truly in love.

Now that's all fine and well but there was a factor my husband had not discussed with me(big suprise) and that was that the car was owned by the woman of the house and he had been conversing only with her husband.  She did not want to part with the car!  Imagine this, here is a property with six or seven garages filled with junk and they moved the car out of the garage 10 yrs ago and never gave it a second thought!

Well needless to say, after much bartering, we loaded her up and took her home.  Unfortunately, because the former owners were too lazy to turn her over every once in a while  the pistons were rust seized. As of this very moment she's getting a heart transplant and I cannot wait to hear her first purr.

I am really glad I found this site and I look foward to talking to other enthusiasts like myself!
