RE: IML: Registrations

By registered, do you mean with the DMV, or with an online database?  Mine is now registered in PA once again after a 15 year hibernation.   I haven’t registered it with any organization though.

As I have commented many times on this, the 67-68's seem to have a very high survival rate. I would bet the numbers are much higher then those places that  use the registered number as a guide suggest. How many cars do members here own that are not registered?

For what it is worth…..I own a 67 convertible (577) manufactured I believe and sent several years ago to an outfit listed in California that claimed to have a count on the number of vehicles (by type) REGISTERED nationally and by state.  According to them, there were 53 1967 convertibles still REGISTERED in 2002.  I have talked with a number of folks who believe doubling the number of cars registered may give an approximate number of those still available (in some form)……so, I’d guess may up to 100 still exist with 50% still registered.

List,

I wonder how many 1968 convertibles are left out of the 474 that were manufactured?  It seems that everytime I read my e-mail another member is talking about his 68 convertible, so there must be quite a few either on the road or undergoing restoration.
