The original Parent Trap has a cameo of a '57 Plymouth 4-dr. Its parked on
the street outside the residence of the mother.

Here we go, again, but MY FAV is "The Gypsy Moths", with Steve
McQueen(??), but, the star of the show was a 57 gold/white rather
beat-up, 1957 CRL D500 convertible . The movie was shot in the late
60's, so, the car was a contemporary "beater", when the movie was made.
Usually, brand-shiney-new-looking cars appear in "retro" movies
(like Peggy Sue Got Married)--none of the cars are ever dirty or
dented/rusty, or, even "very" old.
Also, you can get, now the GREAT B-movie : "The Lineup", shot in 1957,
in Frisco, which features some great FWLK'ers, in "chase" scenes--a
seminal "Bullet" sequence! It's available from (got it here):
