When I'm not servicing something, I use my 2 post for doubling up on
parking. Right now, my '72 Cuda has been up top since returning from the
Nats in August, and the '65 Imperial is underneath. In my third year of use
and never a problem. I have 4" of 3500 lb, but the specs on my lift stated
that minimum concrete was 2.5 inches of 2500 lb. On my floor it is like a
part of the floor, been rock solid including with the Imperial and with my
W200 truck.

One of the reasons I am looking at the 4 post lift is for long term parking
as well as servicing the cars. The other is I think I only have a 3"
concrete floor in my shop. Is there a downside to using an asymmetric lift
for storage/parking? I wouldn't think it would be good to let the
suspension hang on all the bushings. Also, for unibody cars, if you don't
hit the jacking points exactly, would it bend the body over time?

Hi,
I installed a Bend-Pak 10,000lb 'asymmetrical' two post lift about a year
ago here, works great! The '58 Sierra is up on it right now ;-)

Same question, different company, ASE Deals offers a 9000 lb.
Bend-Pak, made in the USA, commercial grade with free shipping and it has
air operated safety devices if a cable should part. Same basic price.
Anyone know about Bend-Pak?

Thanks Again.
Hi,
Has anyone used or had experience with Affordable Automotive Equipment?
They are in Orlando and I was thinking of purchasing one of their 4 post
lifts, either the Pro Park 9 Plus or the Pro Park 7. I think they deal in
Direct-Lift products.
