Take the front fender off, so you can unbolt the hinges.

The door latch mechanism on my 1956 NYer St. Regis has failed, and I can't open the driver's door from inside or from outside. I need to get the door panel off to repair mechanism, but need to get door OPEN to remove panel. Suggestions?? Ideas???
