[FWDLK] Millennium Mopars

Is your Forward Look car ready for the year 2000?
This a test for the Millennium bug.

1. With your car running set the clock* time to 11:59 pm. Set a calendar
on the dash with the date Dec 31, 1999 circled. Shut the car off. Wait
one full minute. Replace the calendar with one with the date Jan 1, 2000.
Restart the car.
Car did not start? It has the Millennium bug, Seek help.
Car starts but clock keeps flashing 12:00, it has the Millennium bug,
Seek help.
Radio only plays oldies? Millennium bug, Seek help.
Car starts and runs good, go to test 2.

2. With the car running, again set the clock* to 11:59pm with the Dec.
calendar on the dash. Start driving SLOWLY down a deserted road. As the
clock turns over to 12:00 place the Jan. calendar on the dash. Does the
car keep running? Did it suddenly steer toward the ditch? Do the brakes
still work? Everything work the same as it did before you started the
test? If so then your car is probably good for the year 2000. If not, it
has the Millennium bug. Seek help.

*Should your car not have a clock your can use a wrist watch (preferably
one with day and date) but the watch MUST be set while you are in the
car.

If you actually try any of the above tests----SEEK HELP!
